Thai Massage Therapy

The healing art of Thai massage is taking us back in time, around 2.500 years, when traditionally practiced in Buddhist monasteries. The founder of this system, known as the legendary Buddha’s doctor, was Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, the father of Thailand medicine.

As some of the eastern systems have many influences among them, likewise, Thai massage is a great blend of Ayurveda, Yoga and Chinese Medicine. The whole philosophy of the system is based on an invisible map of energy lines (sen lines) and acupressure points which are running across our bodies. Rhythmic pressure of the body, stretching of muscles, joint manipulation, deep tissue release are some of the techniques the therapist is applying in order blockages to be released.
